These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Tyshchenko Lean Academy (the “Platform”) and your purchase of its online Lean courses. The Platform is operated by [SELLER_LEGAL_NAME], [SELLER_ADDRESS] (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or buying a course, you agree to these Terms.
1. Payments: Paddle is the Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: Paddle is the seller of the course to you, processes the payment, issues the invoice, and handles sales tax. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries about payments and handles returns. Paddle’s own Buyer Terms apply to the purchase.
2. Free account
You can create a free account without payment. It opens the first 2 modules of every course and a limited number of AI mentor questions a day. The final test and the certificate are available only for a purchased course.
3. Your license to a course
- Each course is a separate product bought with a one-time payment.
- A purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access that course on the Platform. Access has no expiration date for as long as the Platform operates.
- The account is for one person. Don’t share your account, PIN, or course materials. To protect certificates, the Platform records the device and network you sign in from and may block accounts that are shared.
- All course content, simulators, and texts belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, resell, or publish them.
4. Certificate
After you pass the final test of a purchased course, you receive a certificate of completion of the course issued by Tyshchenko Lean Academy. It confirms that you completed the course and passed its test. It is not an academic degree, an accredited qualification, or a professional license. Anyone can check a certificate by its registration number on the verification page. If a course is refunded or charged back, its certificate is revoked.
5. AI mentor
The AI mentor and the AI-powered simulators are educational tools. Their answers are generated automatically, may be incomplete or wrong, and are not professional, engineering, safety, legal, or financial advice. Check important decisions with qualified people at your workplace. Don’t enter confidential company information or other people’s personal data in your questions. Case examples in the courses are illustrations, not promised results.
6. Your account and PIN
You sign in with your email and a PIN that you choose. Keep the PIN secret; you are responsible for what happens in your account. If you forget your PIN, email [SUPPORT_EMAIL].
7. Acceptable use
Don’t try to bypass access controls, overload or attack the Platform, collect test questions, or use the Platform for anything unlawful.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, for example a shared account or an attempt to bypass the test rules. You can close your account at any time by emailing [SUPPORT_EMAIL]. Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Platform is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we don’t guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and our total liability for any claim related to a course is limited to the amount you paid for that course. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Every change is published on this page, and the “Last updated” date at the top shows when the current version took effect.
